Retreat Movement
Vision
The Retreat Movement exists to establish multiplying small groups across denominational, ethnic, theological, vocational and state boundaries that provide restoration and renewal for men and women in Christian ministry led by equipped and intentional facilitators.
Who are Retreats for?
Retreats are available for Pastors, Pastor spouses, Church Staff, Retired Ministry People, Chaplains, Mission Staff and others involved in ministry.
For some forty years men and women in ministry have found Restoration/ Renewal Retreats to be a place where:
Clarity emerges with regard to who and what they are in God.
Relationships are forged for the long haul.
Stories are told and listened to with respect.
Affirmation and accountability merge to empower calling.
Mental fatigue and/or burnout is acknowledged and addressed.
Laughter becomes part of soul restoration.
Gifts emerge, are celebrated and become part of group life.
Kingdom principles are identified and practiced.
How Retreat Groups operate
In order to hear one another, and from God, Retreats are generally a four day live in experience. Normally about eight participants and Facilitated by people equipped for the process.
The three- phase cycle over two years, with some in between catch ups, provide focus on Personal, Relational and Structural/Systems Restoration/Renewal. Venues and Retreat timing is for each group to decide.
Retreats are on the list of approved activities for continuing accreditation.
